Ticketprices are wild in the US. Paid 75 Euro for current Dream Theater Tour here in Germany (ok, one year ago), but next month Porcupine Tree are playing an Open Air Gig in Bonn/Germany, Tickets are 72 Euros.

Next time you think that bass you want is "too expensive", just put it in perspective. 1 (one) standing-room-only orchestra pit ticket to Pearl Jam is $2800.00 before tax, fees, and parking. Hope you didn't have a date!

I will pay money to avoid seeing any people.
As I get older, I tend more and more to want to spend money on experiences rather than objects.
But you'd have to pay me to go to a Pearl Jam show.
I recently purchased a used Fender Vintera Jazz in Inca Silver and a new Fender Mustang PJ in Firemist Gold. Both for just over $1700.00. I've added silver and gold to my portfolio. These purchases keep on giving.Next time you think that bass you want is "too expensive", just put it in perspective. 1 (one) standing room-only orchestra pit ticket to Pearl Jam is $2800.00 before tax, fees and parking. I believe I saw them that year in the Los Angeles Coliseum. Was that their very first end all tour? I remember the fireworks at the end of the show were probably the best I have ever seen.I paid $50 to see The Who in Shea Stadium in 1982.
Using THIS CALCULATOR, that's $214.00 in today's money.
That's probably going to be my measuring stick.
