When your "cheaper" bass is your #1

...and go figure, after fiddling a little with my strap height, my more expensive bass has reclaimed its place as my #1 bass, my Excalibur. Sometimes the smallest adjustments is all it takes. Kinda like how a different set of strings can make a more dramatic difference in tone and cost a LOT less than an electronics overhaul. (And go figure, a set of strings I kinda wanted to try for that bass's first setup last summer ended up being the perfect match).

That said, my former #1 is a terrific Excaliber (which is as close to a backup Excalibur as can be).

Think less, bass more.
