Good question! I've stalled a little bit with my G&L inventory, I've got a few more in stock than I really want to have on hand. So I'm trying to blow out 3-4 just to free up some cash so I can reload with some fresh stock, and I'd be happy to make one or two of those a JB-5.

I have no idea how long that will take, though, so for now the best I can do to scratch your itch is point you to the available list. G&L has got some nice ones in stock right now, and I can have them drop ship any of these straight to you (or anyone else, for that matter). Let me know if any of these tickles your fancy, and I can send you a quote.

There are some fantastic basses in there... I'm a fan of matching head-stocks and bright colors. Also, empress or bassword is a must to keep the weight down.

These two below are certainly winners, especially if the second one in himalaya blue is under 9lbs. ALL THAT SAID, I assume these will be out of my price range as they are too "new" for my budget! I'm usually the one looking for that "blow-out" price you mentioned on NOS, and there isn't much out there for JB5's!

I've got to run right now to make an early evening gig, but I'll hit you with a quote on these two tomorrow. I discount pretty deeply on these "Available List" instruments, so maybe it'll be enough to entice you?
