Chambered.
Apart from the obvious weight reduction does it feel different? How's the sustain and attack? Would you say its more resonant?

I'll take a sparkled Purple body with a Gold Pickguard that has "LSU" on it. That would be my choice if they could do it, without mortgaging the house.
I love mine. Excellent bass!I'm ordering one of these from my local dealer on condition it weighs in at 8.5 lbs or under. He said being a pine body it should be light in weight. We'll see.View attachment 2897504
Anybody have opinions on these Squier 50's basses?
They read the dating sheet wrong - My bass is a P07xxx s/n CIJ which dates to 99-02 based on the "P" so its not a 1993. I LOVE those Paisley basses though. There is a steal on a Sting bass at Music Go round right now for 599 plus shipping. Its probably selling as I'm posting!Posting in case any of you are looking for one of these... Not sure if the pricing is appropriate, but note that they have this listed as "Vintage", which I believe means someone only has 3 days to return it after evaluation.

Man that's a beauty, I think I mentioned before I love the 'butterscotch' ones with black PG the best but the blonde is a looker too. Aside from looks what impressed me was the workmanship and more importantly the play-ability. I always wanted to try a P-Bass but the stigma or 'baseball bat' necks left me skeptical. This was my first P-Bass and I will confess I bought it on looks alone. Turns out it completely destroyed the image I had of the P-Bass plus I put a Lindy Fralin PU in it because, thanks to the wonderful folks at TB, I had never modded a bass. Totally changed my mind and as some of you may know this led to the purchase of the Noir Edition P-Bass, on looks alone, and my goodness it's a FANTASTIC instrument. I know my luck's going to run out one day and I'll only have myself (and TB) to blame.Love mine...
