In my air conditioned office comfortably sitting and staring at a computer screen successfully avoiding the 100+ degree temperatures of outside.
Sheesh. This is the first day this season I built a fire in my shop/mancave wood burning stove. That cold front they were warning about was real. Still need to do my last lawn mowing of the year... At this point it's mostly wild garlic though...

Scoping out a possible new place to deer hunt (bow). Waiting to see what crosses this almost 1/2 mile of 2 track. Bear or deer either one.
I'm in south central rural Kentucky. A friend of ours who sells us half a beef every 18 months or so also bow hunts on my property. My grandaughter also bow hunts in South Dakota. Seems there are a lot of bow hunters after Bambi. That poor, poor deer...;)

I was just virtually with my old buddy, he lives South of Rochester, NY....we were scouting out his 54 acres for bow hunting. We saw a lot of deer. Between his son and him, they usually cram their 4+ freezers with about 5 deer/season.

Well, don't worry about Bambi. We only take mature bucks and have to be 8pt or bigger. I've been bow hunting for over 50 years. I love the chase! The biggest problem I have is keeping trespassing idiots off my 275 acres.
