I actually ordered a set from Ken Smith himself over the phone about 4 years ago! They were a little pricey

just another person chiming in to recommend FretNation. Jason is the absolute best - he emailed me back at like 11 at night to answer a super wonky question I had, and kept up the conversation until I felt comfortable and understood the answer. if they don't list something as "in stock" they can order it for you since they deal directly with the manufacturers, which many brick and mortar stores don't.

I started getting Ken Smith strings from Strings and Beyond last year when they were the only company who had the type I wanted. So far they are very good to deal with. It doesn't make a difference to everyone in the USA but their international shipping is much less expensive than anyone else.
