Where can I get a medium scale bass?

"My big problem with Medium scale is the dearth of strings available. There just aren't a lot of medium scale strings on the market, and you can't just use long scale and cut them - they will never be pulled to the proper tension and will sound flubby. "

I use LS strings, flats, on my Aria. They can be cut down enough to fit, and have proper tension. It's close, but they do fit.

For hollow body medium scale basses with trapeze pieces past the bridge long scale strings are usually the norm.
