Where do all the lost pens go?

I was recently given all of these by my employer. What are the chances I make it through them all?

I always say there's on ly one known example of successful communism (collective ownership of property) and that's the common clear plastic Bic pen. Nobody ever seems to buy one, you've always got a couple lying around, if you need one there's always one available, and when you're done with it you'll probably just leave it on the workbench, conference table, what have you and the next person will use it.

The key to the successful function of communal ownership of the classic Bic pen is that no one actually WANTS to own one of the things. They don't work all that well, they're not attractive, they are the bottom of the barrel, but when you need to write something down, they always work not that well.
