Where do you get bass pedals??

The Studio Logic MP113 looks like a good midi pedal to go with, but would the Toro be too limited to be able to get organ as well as synth sounds? If so then what would be a better controller choice?

Also, could the pedal/controller output be routed to the aux input on a bass amp or would this require a separate amp?

The Toro is pretty limited. It does what it does well but there aren't a lot of sounds to get out of it. Even using the Variable setting doesn't produce an abundance of sounds. I haven't found anything close to an organ. I am not sure about the routing you mention. I am using a separate amp for my set up.

The aux in would just mix in the keyboard signal without adding any effects or EQ. The gains would have to be set to match well in a live setting. I thought it might be an option to avoid having to bring a 2nd amp.

Perhaps the iPad controller would have a wider range of voices to choose from?

Last gig the club's soundman convinced me to just run through the monitors. Hated it. Can't adjust the adjust volume etc. without having to ask the soundman to do it. Plus, it got a bit lost in the mix.

I am not familiar with the iPad controller so can't really comment. As far as I know the controller can't add voices to the Toro. A keyboard controller would give greater octave range than my pedals, and might have the pitch and mod wheels, but the Toro is basically a bass synth.
