Where do you get bass pedals??

All depends on your view of Intellectual Property theft lol. Behringer Toros + Studiologic midi Pedals are the most economical, literal Taurus Pedal alternative on the market. I wanna go this route, yet I don't wanna give my money to Behringer directly so I shall wait for a pair to pop up on the used market lol.
Keith Mcmillen 12 Step for the win! I use it in my alt-metal band Chaos Bloom for low bass notes as well as chords. That was a huge plus for me in picking the 12 step over other controllers like the PK-5. 12 Step has the ability to layer up to 5 notes for chords, opens up a lot more possibilities. Just make sure ya got some thin toed shoes!
When with a touring band, in the 1980's, I had a set of Moog Taurus II's. Basically a Rogue, they were the coolest, most versatile thing I have ever used (and, we used them a lot!). Sorry I sold them.
Today, Taurus Pedals are just as cool, and versatile, as they have ever been. They just cost a WHOLE LOT more.

Taurus IIs are NOT a Mini-Moog but rather a Moog Rogue on a mic stand. Cool but much scaled down from a Mini.

Best I could find that looks right, is light enough and isn't stupid expensive, but you'll need a separate sound module:

Your cheapest and most versatile option would be to find a used Roland or Studiologic pedal controller and then find a MIDI module with some vintage sounds.
That will still be somewhat expensive and you'll be learning about the wonders of MIDI.
I scrounged up a Taurus I and 2 Taurus IIs back in the dark ages which I still have.
They were cheap once upon a time.

Not sure if it fits your needs but you can check out an old Zoom B9.1UT bass pedal that has a build in bass synth: It's old so you would need to find one used.
I found one of these in a thrift shop a few years ago and have not tried that function. I'll see what it can do and how fiddly it is to get it set up.

Unless you’re prepared to shell out a few thousand $ (and if you can find a set) of Taurus 1’s, 2’s or 3’s I think the cheapest option for you is to get one of the new Behringer Toro units which are modelled on the original Taurus 1’s and are relatively cheap, but you will need a set of midi pedals to utilise it for on stage use. A lot of guys use Roland PK5’s but these aren’t particularly cheap either, even used but still a lot cheaper than the genuine Moog pedals.
I have a set of Taurus 3’s and they are brilliant, they are also very heavy and awkward to move/carry but well worth it!

There is a few options. But with any of them that means at least a midi pedal
I personally use PK5 with the Toro. Recreation of the taurus at 99.9%.
Also same midi pedal with a vst host and plug in if you are familiar with midi controllers

local canadian big box music chain has inventory clearances of used pedals, and other gear, is my best choice...if I find a good deal I'll buy it..I have an EH Bass Big Muff pi and a TC Electronics Mojo Mojo both for half price +/- ...for me, pedals are waaaaay over priced for what they do, and more so for my needs/wants...in Canada they're $300-500 plus 13% tax, thanks but I'll go uncompressed...
Almost exclusively on here… if I catch wind of something specific I want, I may eventually check reverb or even guitar center used online, but most of the time I buy something, it’s from window shopping here, something catching my eye, researching it and snagging it.
