Hello. I'm in a prog band, and the BL has on more than one occasion suggested to me, about getting bass pedals. I'm neither opposed, nor in love with the idea and I'm willing to try it.

Where would I find some foot activated pedals that work simply and well, but don't cost (nor weigh), a ton?

On my floor, in my closet, under my desk, behind my amp, in bins in the garage, on the counter top and on my boards.

What are you looking for? Lots of types of pedals that do different things. In my opinion the most useful????? Compression.......Tuner...........depending on the type of music that you play, maybe an overdrive.

Are you asking about effect pedals to change the sound or bass pedals to play low bass tones like an organ?

(hopefully) modern Progressive rock. I'm sure, in the BL's mind he wants to hear massive, booming bass pedals, ala 70s era Genesis.

Sweetwater, TB Classifieds, Guitar Center, and so on. Before buying anything, make sure to listen to demos on youtube of that pedal and get an idea of what you are trying to achieve tone wise. You need to be focused, otherwise this will be an overwhelming and expensive experience.

What is your budget? Guitar Center seems to have decent deals on Moog Taurus 3s when they’re in stock!!! And they are EASILY the most capable and worth it if the Taurus line.

Sorry, I guess I didn't make things clear enough in the post. I have lots of bass pedals, what I meant was the taurus moog type, low, rumbling foot activated pedals. Is there any modern equivalent that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?
