Where do you get bass pedals??

I know it's a lot to comb through but there's some great info there. You will probably need the bass pedals themselves, and a synth module of some sort to make the actual sounds.

I'd also like to say that you should try here on TalkBass. Prices are better and no added fees. Plus, you can put them back up for sale here and make most of your money back (minus shipping).

I tried seven different envelope filters and five synth pedals before I found the one I liked and sold each one back that I didn't like.

Sorry, I guess I didn't make things clear enough in the post. I have lots of bass pedals, what I meant was the taurus moog type, low, rumbling foot activated pedals. Is there any modern equivalent that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

I don't know the market price on an arm and a leg at the moment, but vintage Taurus pedals are really expensive. Check out these Behringer Toro bass pedals cost like $250 for the sound module and you can trigger them with the Keith McMillen keyboard. But the demo that I found below tells me the sound is the real deal. Sweetwater sells the sound module.

Try Reverb first. I bought a Keith McMillan 12-step for cheap after I pitched a counteroffer the seller couldn't refuse. Plug them into a sturdy, well tuned laptop running IK Multimedia Bully (a recreation of the classic Moog Taurus), run audio out of said laptop, and you're good to go, literally in minutes.

I used to use this setup, back in the 80's(essentially it was a Rogue w pedals). Had an Anvil case for the whole thing. Weighed a ton. These days I'd go with the Keith McMillan and a laptop running Mainstage or whatever, or a simple mini monosynth of some kind--there's tons out there these days.

Hello. I'm in a prog band, and the BL has on more than one occasion suggested to me, about getting bass pedals. I'm neither opposed, nor in love with the idea and I'm willing to try it.

Where would I find some foot activated pedals that work simply and well, but don't cost (nor weigh), a ton?
