IMHO, I always thot White PG's look bad(nerdy) on dark basses/guitars like wearing white atheletic socks with cowboy boots & shorts I don't get tort PG either, someone here once said they look like raw ground beef, ew now its all i see! (sorry to ruin it if i did). Black=classy

Three choices. Mint, Mint, or Mint as long as it’s Fender Mint. Fender really does that subtle hue better than anyone else. It would look great against that Burgundy IMO.

The right tort would be very good. The wrong tort, not so much. My gut says cream or black

Dark bass, rosewood board, you've got your choice between something dark that compliments red or something light like white, pearl, parchment, etc.

The basses on this thread with a light/white PG look amazing to me. I tried tort on red once, hated it. I think black would pretty much turn it into a black bass in all but the best lighting.

It’s time we invented a PG with 5-way color selector switch, then you could have any of the above with the flick of a switch.
