Fender bought them out and let them die like many others, who have fallen to bigger companies. RIP Kubicki, Kramer, and the list goes on.

sure Gibson owns Kramer, but their Kramer line is a sad salute to what it once was.

Negative. Phil Kubicki reclaimed the name, rights, whatever after the agreement expired...or something along those lines...and continued to build. I'll assume there was some level of demand when Phil passed away.

This one is odd. I read about this on TB and the Peavey news release, but it's not listed on their site. Also, I think I heard that the Cirrus basses would be import only. No USA models. I could be wrong about that.

Gen II Sunn Model Ts would certainly help the Electric Bass and Electric Guitar brotherhood and sisterhood have a pleasant day.

I bought this one new in December of 1977. It's foogin' awesome.

Next to it is a 1956 Fender Deluxe, with a 1978 Strat that has that elusive slightly-phased "boink" to the sound. What some of us love.

And yes, that's a dead-bone-stock 1964 Precision. All should "Come Back" and make us super-duper happy.

I wish Yamaha would bring back the Motion Bass. The first bass I ever bought was a MBII back in 1986 with my own money from cutting grass and working at Burger King. I still have it today. Black with gold Hardware. Maybe a modern version. Keep the same bridge with the fine tuners and the same size body and shape make it 34 scale instead of 32 scale and change the headstock to look similar to the headstock on a Spector NS2. Not my bass but a great picture of what it looks like.
