My understanding is that the necks and bodies on Nash guitars and basses are licensed products from All Parts and Warmouth. The fit, finish and setup of instruments from Nash Guitars is superb.

Which Fender Jazz or not at all?

Yeah, hopefully sooner for you guys. I think it'll be worth the wait. I'll confess while placing my order, I did buy another bass which ultimately became (and is still) my #1, so that softened the wait considerably!
I just purchased a Fender American Professional II Jazz Bass. It is a wonderful instrument and the US craftsmanship is worth the extra money. Also, you cannot go wrong with the US Geddy Lee, it is an awesome bass
One of the best “Fender” Jazz basses I’ve owned is a Sandberg! I had a 2011 Fender USA Standard Jazz and upgraded the pickups to Aguilar 4J 70s which was an improvement but it wasn’t as well made and didn’t sound as good as the Sandberg (passive California) IMHO. The Fender has gone. The Sandberg remains. I have a Shuker Jazz with active EMG JVX pickups that probably has the best tone of all the jazz basses I’ve owned. Very growly and a slap monster.
The best Fenders I’ve owned were both made in Japan. A Marcus Miller and a 1994 Precision. I sometimes regret selling those but the MM was far too heavy for me at over 10lbs. The P was 7.5lb and sounded awesome with TI flats. I’ve owned several EBMM Stingrays but I never really got used to the aggressive/sizzly tone and the wide necks. They were very well built though.

So this MIM Geddy Lee is what I ended up getting. When I had the money for a USA Geddy there was none to be found. This is a very shinny, classy looking jazz bass to me. My only issue is trying figure out what people use on the neck so you can move around faster without destroying the finish. Its like the emergency brake is on. So much lacquer on it. Still trying to figure out what I think about the Fender strings. I hear a lot people say they really like them. Very nice bass, just very different from my other basses. I just need to put some hours on it.

I'd choose a Stingray over any Jazz. To me they kind of do similar things but the Musicman will almost always have the higher quality fretboard, neck, woods, everything. It's not even comparable. I started out on stingrays and now only play Fender MIA Pbasses. My best Pbass is maybe 60% of the quality of my best former musicman. If Fender had MusicMans quality they would probably charge 4 grand a guitar. Those birdseye roasted classic rosewood stingray necks are something special. They make most fender necks feel unfinished.

Just take a white Scotchbrite pad to the neck, works wonders on that glossy lacquer.

Not sure what you like or what you are looking for, but if you can find a 2010-2012 Fender American Standard Jazz passive it might be worth it. I could do almost anything I wanted with it, any genre, any feel. Great bass.
I've had a ton of Jazz Basses over the years. Some fantastic, some "Meh". I can't remember any of them that I liked more than my American Original '60s Jazz. That said, there is one negative about them IMO.
The side dots are dark (clay-like similar to the dots on the board itself). As such, they were difficult for my old eyes to see. I don't stare at the neck when I play, but I do like to reference the side dots. I bought some stick-ons (I think from Stew-Mac) and it helped tremendously.
Other than that little nit-pick, I LOVE this bass. Looks great, feels great, and sounds great.

A while back, I owned a 1969 Fender Jazz, it was a great bass when I bought it in 1972. I had it about 10 years. Sounded great, but I couldn’t afford it now.
I own two Lakland 55-94’s one fretless one fretted. That dual split coil, will give you both the Jazz Bass pickup spacings. Their 55–02 Skylines do exactly the same at a fraction of the cost. Just my take.
