I would vote for white as there’s a lot of bling happening already. +1 for some black screws as well.

It looks great in black, but I'd change the screws for black too.
100%You're looking at this the wrong way. A red (is that CAR?) bass with a maple board and black block inlays has to have a black pickguard - it's written in the law of most civilized states, and I'm pretty sure it's in the Bible, too.

You are correct sir, it doesn't matter, but.........It doesn't matter if the headstock doesn't match.
