Which Microphone with IEM

Hey folks,

Looking for an inexpensive simple solution for the times when the band I'm working with doesn't have a mix to send me.

I'm using the Tasty Blender from RockOn, so I've got three channels to work with. I'd like to have something that doesn't require phantom power (or a battery, because I know I'd use it so infrequently that it would be dead half the time). I have a Rolls phantom power supply if I need it, though. I'm going to mount my whole little rig (tuner, Tone Hammer, and Tasty Blender) to a tray, and it might be nice to have a boundary mic on there permanently attached. I could also mount a mic clip, but the boundary mic thing is pretty appealing.

Anyhow, just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions.

There are some little Behringer mics (B5?) that seem like a decent deal.

I went ahead and ordered a Naiant omni condenser, will use my little Rolls phantom power box to power it. I'll post an update once it gets here and I try it out.

I used my audio technica pro70 a couple times -- it's a lavalier/acoustic guitar mic with a little battery pack on a 6 ft cord. It has an clip that fits onto the soundhole of a guitar . . . or in my case, the dartboard on the wall at the bar. Worked very nicely.

I use IEM's and I have not been bothering with any room mic into my mix, but I play in a bar band and we're usually on small stages packed closely together.
