Which OD should I get?

I've narrowed it down to two pedals within my price range that basically do what I want.

The problem is, I've never owned an OD, so I'm not exactly sure. I'm looking for a pedal to boost the signal and add just a little bit of breakup and stays pretty quiet (no buzzing and whatnot).

So, the choices are:

Never heard of the second one. Out of these two, I'd try out the 250. But there are so many more OD options out there.

Have you considered the BEST OD? The SWR IOD.

What's your budget? If you're looking at DOD have you checked the Digitech Bad Monkey?

+1 on the bad monkey, but also look at the BOSS OS-2 overdrive/distortion. I've heard some of the most awesome bass tones through that pedal and a great amp.

It's always nice to have the option if you need it.

Best cheap OD there is, apart from maybe some of these new Danelectro pedals (which I haven't heard).

I vote HBE Hematoma. you can get one for around $100 or less. Check the classifieds.

My budget is about 30 dollars...

I don't want to spend on the Digitech because personally, I HATE Digitech pedals.

I'm going for more of a Blues Driver/ Super-Overdrive sound (Boss BD-2, Boss SD-1)...

The DOD250 is a good choice. It's a classic for bassists.
