Mr. @JRA , ya seem to be missing one of the most important tenets of the human species...

well someone finally noticed! well, i think i’ll let you in on a little secret. this whole ordeal is simply me trying to decide what road my parts bass journey will go, but that’s only because i’m anticipating some work (a job!!!) this year, which basically means MONEYI'm surprised no one else has commented on this already, you've made three different posts about how terrible your current bass is set up: eroding nut, 30 year old strings etc. I'd fix these issues and have a decent set up done and you may have a real player on your hands. Then your choice would be easy- get the jazz and now you have both![]()
Don’t be blinded by bling! Lol! Buy the Precision.i’m having trouble figuring out which i like better... a cbs bound and block neck sunburst jazz, or a regular old sunburst precision bass. so i want to hear your opinions on which one you like better!

The jazz, cause I can't possibly ever find a P that's as good as mine, but there's a lot of things I could do to a jazz.i’m having trouble figuring out which i like better... a cbs bound and block neck sunburst jazz, or a regular old sunburst precision bass. so i want to hear your opinions on which one you like better!

For no specific reason, but you asked, If it was MY choice; P bass but tomorrow could be the J.GLi’m having trouble figuring out which i like better... a cbs bound and block neck sunburst jazz, or a regular old sunburst precision bass. so i want to hear your opinions on which one you like better!
I feel the same way about my P. I have an MIA P-Bass that has that lots of low end and lots of high end sound, like Steve Harris. I could never part with it. I got lucky that it sounds so good. My daughter has the exact same Bass, just a different colour and it sounds totally different. As Geddy Lee says, no Bass sounds the same...The jazz, cause I can't possibly ever find a P that's as good as mine, but there's a lot of things I could do to a jazz.
Awesome Basses! I have a Squier Classic Vibe P that looks like that black one. Aren't those black Fender ones like yours Made In Japan?
you gotta get a sunburst and tort pickguard p!!!! it would round out that collection very nicely.
Would that be with a Maple or Rosewood board? I have a 3-Colour Sunburst Player P with a white pickguard and Maple board. It looks amazing.you gotta get a sunburst and tort pickguard p!!!! it would round out that collection very nicely.
