Which Pickguard?

I have a black MIA Strat with a maple fingerboard . . . I put a mint pickguard on it with aged pickup covers and knobs, etc. I also have a black Precision with a maple fretboard and I put a black/white/black pickguard on it . . . I honestly couldn't say which one I like the best.

I've seen a cream/black/cream on a black P bass too . . . the cream blends well with the maple fingerboard.

Next month, I'll be ordering an 'aged' pearl (looks cream-colored) pickguard on my triple sunburst/maple fingerboard with blocks and binding Lakland (55-60) 5 string bass . . . and I'll be changing out the black pickup covers to cream. I'm waiting until next month to do it, as the bass is actually going back (on Monday) for some adjustments at the factory. I like "different."

There is only one option for a black bass with a maple board IMHO
