So I have a pawnshop Toby Pro V (Korea) the electronics of which do not impress. Otherwise it's a beautiful thing. I want to upgrade its guts starting with the preamp. Problem is I have no idea how to determine the proper one or ones to choose... suggestions, links, offers to come to my house with a soldering gun, accepting any wisdom you can throw my way.
