Which Real Book?

I started getting into Jazz and what not, and have finally figured out what a Real Book is. I notice that they make a bass clef version, and then other arrangments. Which one would I want if I am jamming with a guitarist and keyboardist? I was thinking of getting the one for piano (would that be the one in C?) because they could use it to play the song, and I can construct the basslines off the chord progressions..or should I get both? I appreciate the insight!

You should get the 6th edition, In the group of people I play with everyone has that one and it has all of the tunes most people want to play...

+1 on the 6th edition in bass clef. It's the one.

I would say get it in the treble clef edition in C...all you need are the chord changes, and then you can share it amongst an entire rhythm section as needed.
