Man I love having my one bass, one amp and one cab setup, but in this case Mr. Bowlus I would love you have all the gear you do and this dilema you are asking about

I voted the Mesa/Boogie Titan V-12 with PH610 because I have that exact same cab, tried and loved but could not afford the Titan and just love Mesa.

I voted SVT. But, second choice would definitely be the Peavey 400 and either a Berg NV or the Ampeg 810.

I voted for the Mesa/Boogie Bass 400 with Diesel 2x15EV - an awesome old-school hard rock combination that will just slay.

Second choice: the Orange AD200B MkIII + (2) OBC115 stack...

Not a tribute band. A cover band. We make no effort to look like or act like AC/DC, but we do sound pretty close. Our singer is definitely more Bon Scott than Brian Johnson, though, but I'm cool with that.

My problem with Music Mans is that my home base is either the neck pickup on a J-bass (or my trusty Thunderbird) or the Precision location. It just don't feel or sound right to me playing way back where the MM pickup lives. Now, I do like the sound of a MM bass when I play with my right hand where a Jazz neck pickup should be, but being an "anchor" kinda guy (too many years playing off the edge of the fingerboard on upright), the only way that's work for me would be if I installed a thumbrest there. Which I have considered...

I kind of figured the SVT rig would lead the pack. Interestingly, Orange is in second place right now, and our singer (who is the biggest AC/DC buff of the group) was just saying that he had seen a photo of them playing with an all-Orange (or at least mostly Orange) backline at some point.

Seriously though, looks / vibe notwithstanding, my choice would be whichever I thought would work best in the venue, sit best in the mix with that band, and fight with the FOH the least. How big is the room, and how big is the stage? How many meat sacks in the audience?
