Which Sadowsky? Colors, not styles.

Ooooo...but man, Rob's P/J in Sonic Blue with the matching headstock is giving me severe GAS. Of course it needs one more string.

Also that Trans Blue confirms what I thought before...maple board and Standard (no pickguard). Sweet!

Someday I will have an NYC, P/J 5 Vintage with matching headstock. Sonic Blue, Oly White, Inca Silver or Shoreline Gold. Man but that's gonna be a tough color choice for moi.

Yea. Sonic blue was a great piece. Sold it because I have a 24/4 on order that will be used alot. The trans blue was awesome with the maple board. Best metro of the 3 I've had. It went to a TBer who traded it to another TBer. The NYC pj4 went to an acquaintance in Boston. Both were very, very good 4's

I had this bass for a while, and darn right, it was killer. The ONLY reason I passed it on is because I decided I needed a five. The bad news is, I was doing fine against my Sadowsky GAS until I played that bass... especially in a band mix. That was a bad idea for my financial situation for sure.

Most colors (US spelling) come and go but sunburst and natural always stay. I've been buying basses since '66 and I keep coming back to sunburst/tort and candy apple red/white. And J/J.
Sadowsky? The pull . is . . too . . stron . . .

Oh...way to screw up the thread man.

I was looking at a trans. red that was real sharp, but if I go with a color, it's going to be blue. It'll match most of my clothes that way.

you have to ask yourself which colors will be cool in a few years time. Obviously burst and natural will be as they've stood the test of time (yes, and CAR too) but the blues? Hmm

That trans blue is really something (I'd like my eventual fretless Lull M5 to be either that or Teal) but since you have something close to that have you thought about trans red as shown in Bikeplate's arsenal? (Rob, that's a killer collection you have there! ) I've always thought trans red to be an underused color, and would serve and a wonderful transparent "sister" to your blue.

But barring that, my secondary vote is for Natural - there's something very cool and minimalist about a natural body and maple 'board together, and especially with a pickguard isn't too "plain" - you can "make it yours" using that color palate (something a touch on the "less seen" side like black/silver or red pearloid).

Problem is ALL of them are great, just different flavors of great. That poll was doomed from the get-go!
