Peterson Stomp Classic strobotuner
the turbo tuner is more accurate than the virtual strobes; it doesn't need firmware updates, because its tuning part is analog.Just received this tuner yesterday. was going to get the Sonic but Peterson has the capability to have its firmware updated. I have seen the youtube with the differences regarding peterson and Sonic. Sonic was faster with calculating the note. But my concern is accuracy, which im sure Sonic is as well.
the planet waves version is a poor copy, like a turbo tuner with down's syndrome.I am using the Planet Wave Tru-Strobe myself and it is a great pedal.

But Peterson has been around for a long time and wih the updated firmware I say pick peterson classic. Its built well, but its rather heavy for a tuner at least to what I have been using which were not strobe. Its about 2 pounds. Although 2 pounds isn't considered heavy but for a tuner it is. But it looks so cool.

I own it and love it. I've gigged with it a bunch and always have a practice. Never had any issues.
