Thanks everyone. I was basically deciding between these 2 since I already have a 5 string ESP LTD-B5E or something with a real nice looking wood grain to it. I wanted a 4 string that had pickups not to close to the neck so I could work on some slapping. The ATK's pickups are not even remotely close to the neck and I have read a lot that it is a very versatile (tone-wise) bass. The jag...I have always wanted since I set eyes on it. It looks cool. What can I say. Plus, it does have a lot of different things to it. How good the adjustments are, I do not know. But, the pickups seem to have the same distance as a Jazz or Precision and being that I got this cheaper than a non-American Jazz or Precision, I had to get it I guess. 500 for a jag....I'll put the money I saved into any shielding I have to do if any or any mods.
I had like the Peavey Grind in the past, but went with the ESP LTD-B5E or whatever. I like the looks better, plus reviews are excellent on the ESP LTD and I like it. Also, Warwick is not for me. I just don't like the looks of any of them. Not to say they look bad, just not what I am looking for with all of the choices out there.
I guess seeing how girls love it, is what sold me on the jag. ; ) Now I just need to throw it in my Masarati and head to the gig.
