Battle of the 200+/- Watters!!! Which one would you pick? They are both priced closely and I'm new to tube amps, but don't have the cash to crap out for $1,700 - $2,400 for the big boys.

Used SVT; great tone, more power and easy to sell if you should change your mind
I'm still getting to grips with the tone controls on mine, certainly a bagful of tones in there.+1 on the Mesa D-180. I have no need for another amp. It is amazing through any cab for bass and is an equally amazing guitar amp. I got mine from Guitar Center in SC. They though it was broken but they did not know how the tone circuit works. Once you master the tone circuit you can do any tone from jazz to metal for bass or guitar.
