Yeah, I'm waiting for someone to suggest a clear pickguard!
This is like one of those threads where someone says they only have $400 to spend for a Jazz bass and can't decide between a Lake Placid Blue MIM or a Squier James Johnston and you have the obligatory:

How about saving your money and getting an American-made Jazz bass? You can sometimes find them used for under $1000.

I just sold my Fender and bought a Lakland Skyline. Believe me, the quality and tone surpasses any Fender Jazz I've ever owned.

I had the same problem and I actually wanted one of the pearl blue pickguards from Pickguard Paradise. Their stuff is incredible but I couldn't afford it at the time.
The pink bass is amazing seeing that it's a parts build...Korean, I think. I bought it from another board member. He puts together some great stuff.

Yeah, I saw that, I was thinking traditional chrome control plate, gold anodized pg and black pup covers would look hot. Like a '57 P but a Jazz.
