I'm not going to suggest what you don't want...I'm sure some people will...but I will suggest this:

Usually searching "white jazz bass guitar" on ebay will bring some results, but today this was all they had.

You might just have to imagine what one of these would look like on a white Jazz bass.

Exactly like mine, except for blocks&bindings: both classical and cool (usually this color match looks interesting), but the AQP pg looks very nice too...

Here are a couple of tort variants available from Axetreme Creations. Neither looks like a typical tort.

The first one below on the white Mustang is called "real tort" which is an image from a real turtle of some kind. The other is called red tort but looks a bit like red pearloid. They used to call it red abalone.

Hmmmm...looks JUST like my old DJ....wonder if it is....the blue guard was a way to set it off from other white J style basses...it is actually a pearloid...

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who thinks that a tort pick guard on a white jazz bass looks killer. Also agree that a redder tort might be better, and that pearloid is great, too.

But if the OP doesn't like it, then it doesn't matter. So how about a clear pick guard with something underneath it? Invalid Link Removed

A friend did this with his strat, and it looked great. He sliced up various band and record store stickers (remember when record stores gave out stickers?), but a lot of different things would look good.
