White jazz bass pictures needed!

I love the look of pickguardless jazz basses and my CIJ 62 reissue allows for it, but I don't like how it looks in white. The screw holes don't look bad with sunburst or black but they're too pronounced here.

Here's an "outside the box" suggestion. I've seen people on eBay selling pickguards made out of vinyl records. There was also a recent thread about it here on TalkBass. I must say, it's pretty tempting. I'm thinking about finding some of the cooler/wackier/holographic LP's and having them cut to shape.

Oh, and for the record…I, too, am not a fan of photo-tort. If it was actually translucent, like actual, classic tortoise shell is, that would be another matter. I mean, for cryin' out loud…they make guitar pics like that. Why not for pickguards?

I sold the bass a couple years ago, but I still have the pickguard. It came from Greasy Groove.

That, Good Sir, is awesome!

It reminded me about WD Music's pickguard selection. For a small fee you can request samples of left-over material to see which works best for you, up close and personal.

I usually don't go for these types of pg but that one on that bass is good - very surreal and would probably look cool from an audience pov.
