The pups are '79 vintage DiMarzio Model Js

I do like the way the creme covers go with the maple 'board, but I have been thinking about changing out the covers to white pearl to match the 'guard. Does anyone know where I can get white pearl jazz pup covers?

My '07 Jag. Just sold it, but kept the cream covers!:smug:
Am Std Jazz, black/rosewood/tort, on the way.
Overall, though, I think it looked better with the black covers, so we'll see what happens. I think the cream covers would look better with a maple neck. I got them from Warmoth, btw. (of course, I kept the BAII also)!

Relayer. Thank you !

Jeff, believe it or not, I am too. If you look at my color choices for basses, they are pretty standard/bland.

With this one though, I wanted something outrageous as an ode to 70's funk. I went with brilliant lavender sparkle, or as one TB'er called it, Statutory Grape !

Everyone needs a little craziness and insanity in their life. It keeps things fun.

I have only seen it in stage lighting once and it looks even better.

Currently being overhauled. Pulling the Fender Customs and dropping in Fralins and a John East Retro.
