who DOESN'T use velcro?

I've been looking at different pedalboards that don't require velcro & thinking of ways to design my own--eventually I will have a pedalboard

This might not be the right place for this, but - I have a couple of pedals that I do NOT want to put velcro on - one is serial #0007, the other is signed by Bootsy Collins - I've been using zip ties for some pedals but I thought maybe I could get replacement bottoms/backs to use in my pedal board - has anyone tried that before? Anyone have a source for just the bottoms?

Here's what it looks like now - I'm planning on moving the CAJ compressor down and moving the octave over to the right, with the #0007 distortion pedal & Bootsy-signed pedal between that and the Hematoma.

Me!!! I don't use velcro for my pedals.

And since you seemed to complain about big name like Boss who uses entire rubber bottom and not giving any velcro... it's because their pedal boards, since the old days, namely the BCB-6, or their current BCB-60 and BCB-30, don't require any velcro.

+1 for 3M dual lock. Having to remove Velcro from a pedal is a pain.

But does it come with foam I can cut to my own pedals? Will any of my pedals fit in that? I don't have any Behringer pedals.
And I know some of my pedals won't fit in those holes.

I've never used Behringer board or any of their pedals, but my guess is that it can use the uncut or precut Boss BCB-60 foams. I'm under assumption Behringer use Boss standard stompbox size.

or... don't Behringer sell their own foams separately as Boss do?

We are up to a new method of attaching pedals to pedalboards. You do not need to modify your pedals in any way using our method. But it is still under development. Right now we are running a beta-test program here in Sweden and we have sent a kit to five bass players for extensively testing.

Here is the most resent design of the FX Smart #59-80. There is also a #79-120 version. The pedal brackets shown in the photo above does not include the rubberstrips that are supposed to be placed inside the bracket sides.

Here the pedal mount brackets are used for my own The Weeping Birch Buff Piezo Transducer Buffer as well as the Boss GEB-7. The brackets are mounted to the pedalboard using velcro (i.e. not on the pedal itself). Then I can with ease pull off a pedal if I whant to e.g. switch pedal, replace battery, use one pedal as stand alone, etc.

The next generation of the design process will include countersunk bolt holes for the option of use screws to mount the pedal brackets to a pedalboard.
