I'm on my third. My first was a P bass returned by a customer for being too heavy, Andrew chambered it and turned it into a real Fender killer in a P/J configuration. My second was "Kyle's" bass (now for sale) which came for sale just as Andrew and I were making specs for a commission. Kyle's bass was so close to what I was thinking of that I pounced on it when it became available. Also a P/J, it is a bass that if you could only have one bass, this would be it. That was until Andrew came over and demoed a Cricket prototype. I bought that and think it is the most versatile bass I have had yet for tonal options. I can get a 60's P bass sound easily even though I am a "jazzer" with multiple tone needs. I had a bout of tennis elbow, so I am culling my herd down to only lightweight 32" scale basses and couldn't be happier. If you were looking for a "last" bass, I can't endorse Andrew highly enough. I have no affiliation with him other than being a customer. I consider myself a discriminating buyer as I have also had basses from Cliff Bordwell, two Reverend Rumblefishes, as well a Scott Beckwith Birdsong and a Clement. Got to support these artisan craftsmen!!!
