Amazing stuff for sure. Always been fascinated about how the mad talents in Bungle just happened to have been classmates in a fairly small town. What are the odds?

I personally can't stand the 'James Brown' funk, but as for old funk I would recommend listening to bands like 'Fatback band, Mantra and the GAP band'. They all have many funky songs with great bass lines.
