Who has a unique pedal that no one else owns?

Sorry. I didn't mean to hijack or offend. Just feelin enthusiatic in finding a forum with other bass players. New to blogging. Will go back to lurking and not post again.

Sorry man, I didn't mean it like that.

Perhaps I should start again and welcome you warmly to talkbass. This really is a great place to learn more about our instrument and everything about it.

Everyone makes a first mistake, you can't come in knowing exactly how things work around here, and that's all I was trying to suggest. If you made your own thread on the Bootzilla, you'll have most of your questions answered.

And normally, I don't imediatly shoot someone down and order a search (Thats SpankyPants). I apologize.

this is an orange squeezer clone made locally... it works in a very peculiar manner that when bias = zero, you would have no sound eventhough volume = full.

the volume and bias also works in an interactive manner. this thing also distorts at very loud volume.

in the 1 o'clock and beyond setting... i dont notice any difference in compression.

its part of my sound though, i think its good. but im also the type of guy who has never owned any other compressors aside from this. i also dont know what the sonic difference is between an orange squeezer and a normal compressor.

i read the compressor review and i guess orange is more of hard knee, and the other one is soft knee...

this pedal is unique cause i did the paint job myself... and at that time, i dont know about the countless botique designs i could have taken inspiration from. but oh well... it works. the hardware store is a very inspiring place for stomp box design.

It's cool. I guess I felt it was worded a bit harshly is all. I never aim to "shoot down" noobs, just redirect their questions and help them help themselves. :D

I still like it when people do a search, but after a certain point, I didn't even have to say it. Everyone else seemed to take care of it for me. ;-D

If that changes, I just may have to break out my crown, pull my "Do-A-Search" badge out of the closet, and start splitting skulls though.

Haha. Twice I've offended someone in this thead, I feel like a dick. :D

Again, I'm sorry man. Just a joke. If we were in person, I'm sure I'd get crap for being the ginger of the group. I just got off of a radio date where I got called Ginny Weasly on air by my drummer.

I've got a few rarities, like the old Digitech PDS20/20 Multiplayer Delay, and an original DOD Meatbox, but I've seen them floating around here.

But what I haven't seen here anywhere, are these two: one of the original run Red Panda Particles from 2011, and a wide format smallsound/bigsound Year 4545.

I'm aware of 18 of this version of the Particle (this is #13 I think from memory, I'd have to crack it open and double check)
