who likes pointy basses

I wish I could find Clammy ( from Exciter)'s Moser pics to post....they are around the threads somewhere.
The only bass even considered pointy I would buy would be one of those uh, Spiders(?) that Entwistle played. The brown one with the webbings in the corners, looked like an Explorer.
Someone brought one to a jam at a local shop one night and that's the closest I've been to playing one.

Used to have a BC Rich Jersey Beast lots of neck dive but I loved it.
I was giving lesson and left it at the students apt.in Union City and some piece of Ship kicked in the door and stole it while he was at my show in Jersey City. I can only hope that he impaled himself on it, it certainly was sharp enough!

I can't "stand" them either, the longer my pointy bass sits on the stand the longer I have to take it off the stand and play it.Gaaah, I can't stand them

Wow. I just noticed the stand. That's cool. Our drummer had a rack system for his kit with welded chain-links for his crash cymbals. Looked pretty damn cool, actually.
