I luv those pointy crazy looking guitars & basses from the 80's & early 90's & always have. I own an ESP-AX series 6 string guitar & a Nikki Sixx signature Epiphone bass right now & have been looking at some B.C. Rich basses but the crazier looking & pointier the guitar the more I like it it seems..lol

TolerenceEJ, the neck was from a bass I bought covered in it.

When I was done using it I used the neck for the explorer and tossed the body in a box. The guy used spray adhesive, but the explorer is going in for a refin, and the headstock will match the body color so it didnt matter as I have another Charvel sticker for the painter to use.

love pointy basses, well mainly on pointy headstocks. i dont care what everyone says. Jackson headstocks are awesome!

I am with you, I love pointy headstocks too. The first one I ever saw was on a Washburn AV-15 guitar and it was admiration at first sight. 30 years later and I play a Fernandes explorer bass, and Ibanez Destroyer bass and a Gibbo Flying V at pub rock gigs. And I do so because I like to sling my basses low and they sit better down there.

The one pointy bass I couldn't play was the Warlock. The pointy front horns on that bass regularly dug into my legs, my hip and they always felt like they were in my way. I ended up cutting both horns off to improve the playability. Best think I ever did.
