who only uses 1 pedal?

I usually only use a tuner, and an overdrive. Currently that's an Xotic BB--love it--very versatile. That's it for 99% of the gigs I do.
For recording I'll experiment with all kinds of stuff--the sky's the limit. But live, I like it simple - unless it's a really obvious, in-your-face effect that HAS to be there for a certain song. I find the more subtle effects on bass often aren't worth the hassle live, and often just muddle things up in the house.

The true pedal is a Rocktron Banshee Talk Box. I've mentioned it before. Always wanted one. Now I have one. Guitarist doesn't have one, and I'm sure not going to let him borrow mine. I do use it more than I should though.

The other "pedal" is a footswitch for the Fender Rumble 150's overdrive, so that kinda doesn't count.

I just got another amp, Carvin BR515, so now I have to buy a real bass overdrive pedal, instead of acting like the DOD Classic Fuzz I'm borrowing sounds good (it doesn't).
