Exactly. In the last 70+ years, except for swim trunks - to go swimming, and gym shorts - in gym class? I have never, ever, not once worn shorts in public. Not when I was a kid; not in the 34 years I lived in Las Vegas; not when I was stationed in Panama, where actual uniform shorts were optional for wear; not on temporary duty in places that were even hotter than that; and, not even while playing golf here in the summertime. On golf courses full of people that do... Don't like shorts - any style of shorts - and I ain't gonna wear them. Period. But, if you want to? That's perfectly fine by me; in fact, feel free to buy all the shorts that I'm not going to buy...Who Wears Short Shorts?
