Ray Brown's lines from Oscar Peterson's "Night Train", and Jeff Berlin's part from "Joe Frazier."
I just finished transcribing Miles' solo on So What, this was the first solo I've transcribed, and I feel like i've learned so much doing it. Now, I'm off to start Miles' solo on Freddie Freeloader.
Tim Miller, Justin Vasquez, and Elliot Mason from my new album. The transcriptions will be published in an upcoming issue of BassGuitar magazine in the UK.

I've just started transcribing Cannonball Adderley's solo in "Spontaneous Combustion". This is my first attempt in transcribing a solo. It's hard (for me) but I'm enjoying every minute

Not sure what that box is attached to the guitar, could be a synthesiser - certainly got an octaver of some sort on the guitar.

Octaver? I don't hear any effect on the guitar except delay.
That looks kinda like one of the old Roland guitar synths, but I don't think we are hearing anything except the guitar signal.

Hmm maybe its my ears but can hear some kind of unison line when he hits the higher registers, might be the box or hall acoustics who knows..
About to start Willie Weeks' legendary solo on Everything is Everything. Isn't that the most badass bass solo you've ever heard??
Just finished isreal crosby's walking on the classic but not for me off of live at the pershing. I've been picking some lines here and there from joe lavono (pat martino's think tank) michael brecker (itsbynne reel) and robert glasper (rise and shine) I'm about to start coltrane on softly as in a morning sunrise from the live at the vanguard recording provided I don't get assigned anything in class tommorow.
'Sightseeing' from 8:30. I've got the head down, moving on to the solos now, which should be a lot of fun. I can't believe I've spent years looking for a chart when I was able to work it out after 20 mins! Thanks to the all the buzz on this forum...
The head and Hank Mobley's solo on "Remember" from the Hank Mobley album "Soul Station" (one of the best jazz records ever made!!) and the theme tune to 70's BBC children's tv programme "Rentaghost" (written and performed by Michael Staniforth ('Timothy Claypole')... who I've just found out was born round the corner here in Birmingham, England, and died of AIDS in 1987, for those of you who regard Timothy Claypole as a childhood hero).
