Whose the most famous person you've ever met

I have worked for a major television network for over 11 years and I have worked with and met many people that are considered celebrities, but unrelated to work I ran into this man and it was amazing!

I once met Mr. Veedo he knows everyone. Don't believe it, I didn't believe it either.
One day I said, "No way Mr. Veedo you can't know everyone."
He said "Yup, I know everyone."
I said "Oh yeah, well I bet you don't know Paul Mcartney."
Off we flew to Britain and there was a knock at the door as soon as we had settled in to our hotel room. Mr. Veedo opened the door and there was Sr. Paul standing there with a pot of tea. He said "Mr Veedo , it's so good to see you. How have you been mate?"
On the way home I said "Okay, so you know Paul Mcartney, I bet you don't know Obama."
Off we flew to Washington D.C. We were met by a limo at the airport and whisked off to the White House. The President met us a the the front door and said "Well if it isn't my old friend Mr. Veedo. Let's go have a beer in the oval room."
On the way home from D.C I said "Okay so you know Obama too. I bet you don't know the Pope."
Off we went to Rome. When we got to the Vatican Mr. Veedo disappeared. Sure enough I look up on the balcony overlooking the plaza and there is Mr. Veedo and the Pope waving to the crowd.
The crowd started chanting "Papa, Papa, Papa!"
I turned to this Italian guy next to me and said, "Excuse me sir, do you know that guy up on the balcony?"
He said, "Well I don't know the guy in the funny hat but the man standing next to him is Mr. Veedo."

He was pretty quiet and kept a close eye on his boy who was in our office. I worked for a custom tile company back in the late 80's and designed his kitchen and shower tile. I have been to his house once to get the specs for their tile. We mainly dealt with his wife Jill, but one day he came in with their kids. We were very nonchalant about it. We were also invited to their house warming party but I couldn't go as I was firing kilns until 3 AM in the morning.

Oh man....you met La Cicciolina? How? Why? When?

Pics?

Carlos Santana. I was working for a catering company, doing backstage catering at all of the events in my area. IIRC, I did a roast top round, honey glazed salmon with a cucumber salsa, twice baked taters, and grilled asparagus as the main meal. He wanted to meet me. Shook my hand, bowed, and said it was an honor to meet me. HUH?! He said that in all the years he'd been touring, this was the best meal he's ever eaten. He seemed very humble and incredibly pleasant. Should've pulled him out back and pulled the Dugout out of my pocket.

Big Boi from Outkast. Chilled with him preshow behind the Hampton Coliseum, watching interstate traffic drive by.

Dusty Hill. He was a grouch. Might've been bad timing.

All of the old WCW wrestlers. You would not believe how much these guys eat. I suppose they have to, to maintain their size. Some of them were kind of dicks - referee Charles Robinson, Goldberg, "Above Average" Mike Sanders, and mega-prick Lex Luger wouldn't even let Elizabeth make her own dinner plate. She had a look of desperation in her eyes, as if she was saying "What am I going to do? I'm trapped." She killed herself about 2 years later. I hung out with Stevie Ray for about an hour and shot the breeze. He was pretty laid back. Locking eyes with Scott Steiner felt like looking at a wild animal. He was the only one that made me go "Damn. That's a scary dude." His shoulders are/were like 4 1/2 feet wide.

Willie Lanier. He came into the area for a Bruce Smith fundraising golf tournament. He worked with an old friend of my mom's, and she dragged him over to our house afterward. Thick dude. His fingers were like kielbasas. Good thing he's not a proctologist! I had his Super Bowl IV ring on my thumb. It was loose.

"Family Man" Aston Barrett. My dad was doing sound at a local venue called The Norva. The Wailers had a show. The truck carrying all of his bass gear broke down. I let him use my old Ampeg rig and Precision Elite II. He was gushing over that bass. Kept saying how nice it is.
