The bass string cleaning tube is a far better option than boiling. Water by itself isn't much of cleaner.I have been boiling strings for years without a problem.

Man, you really have to have a set of balls to call their money OUR money. They earned it. You paid for a product you needed, so you got the product and they got the money. There are also some products that do work as far as cleaning them and making the strings last longer...
