Why Bass is the best instrument

On topic, though, I personally feel that a bass has more unique "techniques" that can be used to play it, in comparison to the other usual band instruments, esp. a guitar. Plus, there aren't too many things that you can do with a guitar that you can't with a bass (picking up girls included
).
1. We have so much groove and rhythm in not only our hands, but our bodies. It translates to excellent rhythm where it matters most - in the sack!!
2. We don't have ego, we have musical prowess and dedication to always better ourselves.
3. Girls get more excited by watching our fingers work
4. We don't need to record a million layering tracks, like guitards have to. Which means more time spent at the bar showing girls how our fingers work

Debatable.
I've seen a couple bassists who have no skill or unique sound run their mouths like they're famous, or are actually making good money off of their playing.
Also, I can be very lazy, so dedication isn't 100% either!

You know why bass is the best? Cause there can only be one
Sure there are a handful of bands with 2 bass players, but that's like having a two headed tooth brush. Sure its nice to have an extra, but one gets the job done!

because its the most phallic (possable s.p) and instantly makes women want to take there cloths off

I believe The Doors bass parts were all done with Ray Manzarak's keyboards? Love 'em regardless, but I still think a bass-less band sucks. Like listening to a pocket AM radio in the 60s.
