Why do certain people feel the need to post?

Why do certain people on this forum who cannot write a coherent sentence feel the need to do so & post some lame thread.
If you are not qualified to write a sentence just don't post.
Some of the sentence structures & thread titles make me cringe.
Sorry, just venting.
The consequences will never be the same.
Also, when is a bass player not in his/her 'formative years' anymore?
Some people don't get out of there in 20 years.

English is not my first language, I'd like to see you write in french.
It took around 20 posts for the grammar nazis to post, I thought it would only take 10.
I'm new to online forums, don't know anything about human nature, and just picked up my first bass yesterday, but I'd venture to guess that newbies are enthusiastic about learning their instrument, like to feel involved, want to share what they just learned in their lessons, and posting about it helps them to crystallize the concepts in their minds. I think it's cute, and if they're wrong they need to be corrected so others who are too shy to post can learn - uh, I mean, what do I know?

But still, even if somebody posts something that turns out to be wrong, should you shoot them down or correct them? Maybe they thought they knew what they were talking about, but shooting them down doesn't help them with anything except fostering a #### attitude. Isn't it a better start to assume better of somebody before you assume they are just running around the internet propagating false information?
Ignore list is for wimps.
So choosing not to ignore them and getting peeved at their impudence enough to post pointless bitchfests that only serve to bring ridicule and questions of judgment is for tough guys like you? I am in awe of your courage.
