Turbo'd DOHC 4.6L bored to 5.0L. I keep it at around 10psi for driving around, and it makes ~670rwhp. But it makes 880rwhp at 18psi and a little over 1000rwhp at 25. 10 psi isn't really in the best efficiency range.
Read what I said. If you are looking at it from the perspective of the wheels, reducing a loss is a gain. I don't mean a gain at the engine. You reduce the engine load with the lighter flywheel and hollow DS, but increase the load with the 4.10s and drag radials. That is what I was saying.
Again, times have changed, 410's are compensated through electronics, and the wheels are actually 2oz. Lighter total package tan the stock 17's and basically the same diameter.
For the bit that is off the computer is also compensating for that as well through programming.
Guys I assure you the car was very well thought out by myself and the guys at Excessive Motorsport's of Manassas Va.
They are some of the best Mustang builders on the East Coast.
They don't work on anything but late model mustangs mid 90's and up.
Anything that was put on the car was clearly thought out and considered Chris (a licensed SCT tuner) from Excessive did the SCT LiveWire tuning, Allen (a several time winning alcohol burning drag car driver/builder) was very involved, as well as Terry (the owner)
These guys know their stuff.
