I was happy like you and didn't get a new one for like a decade... I even purged a bunch of my stuff before that and only kept a few of my main stuff. The only gear i got was like... tuner pedals when the old one died.. then my Guitar player was showing up with a new guitar ever month.. so i started browsing.. big mistake..I've been out of the bass-playing game for a very long time and had some catching up to do...
That phase is over, some basses were sold and a couple of other are on their way out. The purge should be done with in a couple of months and I'll be where I need to be.
That doesn't mean that I won't ever buy another bass...while I'm not actively looking for anything, there are a few pieces that I wouldn't mind owning. Curiosity, cat and all that jazz...or maybe precision...![]()
He can only say stuff like that cause he's loaded, if he moves house he gets a removal company in.
But did you then decide to part with any?He can only say stuff like that cause he's loaded, if he moves house he gets a removal company in.
I moved house in October and my 68 basses took 12 car trips, you can bet your backside by the 3rd trip I knew "there is such a thing as too many basses" only too well![]()
Sure did.But did you then decide to part with any?
I lack that amount of discipline.Sure did.
Weighed the pros & cons of each one as I unpacked and 64 from the 68 will be leaving![]()
So....if you can only play one at a time, why do you own more than one?
Short answer? ^THIS^Because I can![]()
