They should have done us all a favor and knocked over the drums and amps at the beginning of the clip. Would have saved us all from having to listen to that, ahem, "music."

+Lots 'o points...
My Epic 5 blows away most basses I've played, tonally. Different from everything else, but not in a bad way at all.
+1 on the mid-scoop + bad audio.
You can make any bass sound bad if you try. :scowl: Maybe that's the sound he was going for.

Beautiful Alembic Spoiler, but the sound He's getting out of it is, to my ears, pretty atrocious. Alembics normally sound so full and rich, please tell me this isn't a standard sound of a 'lower'model Alembic?!
Or am I just being overly critical?
His (Alembic) sound on Chaos AD is solid, I can't imagine he wanted his bass to sound like it does in that clip...
IMO that tone does fit the music they are playing.
Holy crap it never ceases to amaze me that every single freakin' time there is a thread about metal there are a bunch of guys who like other styles of music and then proceed to post very intelligent comments like "They should have knocked there amps over at the beginning of the clip"
