Why doesn't Spector improve their body design?

Never had a issue with neck dive with mine but that’s just my 2 cents.

People who claim to know jackrabbits will tell you they are primarily motivated by Fear, Stupidity and Craziness. But I have spent enough time in jackrabbit country to know that most of them lead pretty dull lives; they are bored with their daily routines: eat, shag, sleep, hop around a bush now & then . . .No wonder some of them drift over the line into cheap thrills once in a while; there has to be a powerful adrenaline rush in crouching by the side of a road, waiting for the next set of headlights to come along, then streaking out of the bushes with split-second timing and making it across to the other side just inches in front of the speeding front wheels. Why not? Anything that gets the adrenaline moving like a 440 volt blast in a copper bathtub is good for the reflexes and keeps the veins free of cholesterol.

I call ‘em bunnies.

No neck dive on my euro, but I did have a buddy with a Rebop he sold because there was some neck dive.

So about the 1982 Warwick Streamer...

Lol your post implies Spector took their shape from the Warwick streamer. Sorry, that’s not the case, Warwick took that from Spector, who had the original body designed by Ned Steinberger in 1977.

What are u talking Abt

I thought the two Spectors I owned were amazing sound-wise, but they are also the only two basses I've ever owned to make my left wrist hurt after a short while of playing. The reach and angle just didn't agree with me.

Plenty of Spector users out there to keep them floating, I'm sure.
This is exactly what I'm talking about, the longer reach

Spector has a very comfortable body design, the all rounded edges, belly scoop, etc. However, why don't they make the upper horn longer to prevent neck-dive? As well as the distance from the edge to the bridge, the bass will be more balanced if there's not a lot of space between the bridge and the strap peg(even tho the peg was already moved up a bit but it doesn't help a lot.)

I know Spector's body shape is based on Ned Steinberger's design but even Ned himself extended the upper horn for a whole lot on his NS-Design basses, why doesn't Spector do so?

that’s funny because I like all those things but don’t get along with bass body, I found it difficult to play sitting and standing
