I wonder how the lavender affects the tone.

It would be great if it also emitted a lavender scent to lead to mellow playing.

Actually, the purpose of the post was to share the new Fender product I saw in the CME e-mail.

That's a little hard to swallow when the only text in your original post was "Why do we need this?"

Young people prefer instruments in interesting and solid colors. Supposedly there's no taste for sunburst (which I have seen them call "boomer burst") or natural finishes among that set, which to them look very dated.

They will sell every last one of these I'd bet.

I am 45 this year and enjoy unusual colors. When it comes to sunburst, I prefer 2 color to 3 color.

just snagged this a few months ago it's not a fender, it's a G&L USA jazz bass but the color is amazing royal purple metallic ...thought I'd share

just snagged this a few months ago it's not a fender, it's a G&L USA jazz bass but the color is amazing royal purple metallic ...thought I'd share

G&L always had some great finishes, especially metal flake.
