So how does the likes of DD Ramone,Marcus Miller etc.etc. get a Sig. Bass honoring them and James Jamerson doesn't or did he,correct me if I'm wrong...

why isnt there a J.Jamerson sig.bass

I think Fender offered one for a short time , maybe late 80's, early 90's and you could only buy one from the old Bass Centre in Los Angeles.

IIRC, it was basically a '62 AVRI with a special neck plate and some COA documentation.
Because Jamerson would have made a 2x4 sound as good as a CS Precision?
Buy a Fender American Standard Precision, put fat flats on it and work on your technique.
If I remember correctly, the first two signature Fenders were Jaco and Jamerson. Now I have to Google most of the players who have signature basses.

Because they can't get the right mojo on the strings no matter what they treat them with.

I'm not so sure you can put Marcus Miller in the same sentence as Dee Dee Ramone....and I like the Ramones...
the problem was fender was using his namesake to make money, the family sued and won i believe (they weren't getting a cut of the bass sales). the 62 RI is the same thing now, just doesn't have his name or labella strings on it.
How many versions of a bog standard 62 P bass does the world actually need? That the man's playing is as relevant today as the era it was recorded and it still makes people shake their asses is the the best honour we can give his playing, not another pointless cash-in sig.
